Near Perfect Tool For Small Seedlings

This is an ideal tool for transplanting very small seedlings. I used one for years and it went missing. $10 + shipping seemed like a lot for a small piece of bent metal, but it was worth it. I use it constantly and it facilitates very delicate work.

    Great up potting tool

We bought these to use in the greenhouse up-potting seedings from cell trays to pots for sale and planting. Works very well! Very happy we bought them!

    Works great for transplanting seedlings

This tool is so helpful for getting the seedlings out of the seeding trays and into bigger pots. I just slip it in between the growing plug and the tray cell and it pops right out. Simple!

    hope it works well

It is smaller than I thought, but I think it will work well, good for the deep starter seed trays.

    sharp edges

We ordered widgers to plant garlic and small bulbs in a new green roof that forms part of our public-school garden in East Harlem, New York. Its substrate is based on expanded shale - difficult to dig into with fingers. The widgers are the right size and shape to do the job, but the edges are far too sharp for adults, let alone kids. I will have to file them down and wrap the center in gorilla tape to make them safe to use.
