Fiskars Telescoping Tree Pruner 12'

If you need to control the height of your fruit or decorative trees but don't want to climb up on a ladder, this is a great choice. The rotating angle pruner head makes precision cutting much easier without straining your body. I pruned an old out of control apple tree back down to a productive size, the pruner chopped through smaller branches with ease but did take some extra work to get through the larger sizes. I'd recommend just using the saw on anything much larger than an inch. Speaking of which, the saw is great and can be set to multiple different angles and positions on the pruner's shaft. If you have semidwarf or larger trees this is perfect.

This saw has worked really well. The fact that the head rotates to get to the angle of the cut is awesome. No Ropes or Chains to mess with is nice as well.

After using my short version of the PowerStroke tool, I treated myself to this pole pruner. I own several of the rope type of pole pruners, and have often been frustrated with the ropes getting caught in branches, as well as the pruner heads and saws rotating away from what I was trying to cut! The telescoping pruner tool works flawlessly, cuts decent size branches, and does not get stuck in branches!
A little Triflow teflon lubricant helps the parts working smoothly.
Highly recommend tool to reach those awkward branches to cut off.

No ropes or chains to bind, smooth effortless cut on branches up to 1 inch. Larger branches can be cut with a little muscle but the saw blade slices right thru them. I cut thru 3" thick branches, 12' off the ground in 8 strokes with the blade. I cuts on the pull very well, the push seems to be a bit flimsy.
