Bird Netting (28' X 28')

I was unsure if this bird netting would work for our chicken coop yard cover however, at a very reasonable price it was worth a shot. When I first unrolled the netting I was thinking that this was going to be a nightmare to handle by myself. If you take your time the netting works quite well. I stretched the netting over the chicken coop exercise yard, 16’x20’. I feel the netting will keep the younger birds in as the grass in always greener outside the coop, and the local predatory hawks will be repelled. Great product.

Yes, it will protect your crops from birds, but it will also entangle birds (and potentially small mammals ). I had to extract a terrified mockingbird that was tangled up in this type of netting - I hope it hadn't been trapped there too long. Now I use netting like mosquito netting that not only doesn't trap birds, but is also easier to drape and remove for picking.

Used this netting over a cyclone fence to keep birds off my blueberries. Worked great! Only problem was seasonal weeds would use the net as a trellis. I had to resort to hand pulling the weeds or using herbicide the year they got away from me. The net has been up for 3 years straight and no holes yet

I used this product to protect my ripening blueberries. I covered my blueberries completely except for the bottom 2 feet because snakes can get tangled in it. On the bottom 2 feet I used a 30% shade cloth. It works great and have seen very little bird damage while still protecting the gopher snakes.
