Theresa Loe feeds her family from 1/10 of an acre in Southern California. In addition to preserving her garden produce, and keeping just about the cutest backyard chickens (see all that on her blog Living Homegrown), Theresa convinced her young sons that gardening was a fun project.

In our new video you’ll discover Theresa’s secrets for getting children out into the garden. Tricia talked with Theresa in the picturesque Grow Your Lunch edible school garden, designed by Ben Eichorn as part of the edible gardens coordinated by Star Apple at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show.
