Our own specially formulated, all-natural blend, originally developed for use in Speedling trays (one cubic foot fills approximately 4-5 trays) and other transplant starting trays such as Plantel trays, and 6-packs.
QuickRoot can also be combined with perlite for use as an indoor planting mix. It contains no soil. May require screening as compost may clump. Ingredients: coco coir pith, medium grade vermiculite (no detected asbestos-tested annually), green waste compost, gypsum, organic wetting agent, bone meal, soft rock phosphate, kelp meal, sulfate of potash.
Because QuickRoot contains little nitrogen, supplemental N should be supplied once the plant's true leaves appear (we recommend fish products or Omega 6-6-6). Moisten potting mix prior to use. Wear a respirator, as for all dusty products.
