Pluot Trees

The Pluot® is "Interspecific," a complex hybrid of 70 percent plum, 30 percent apricot. Smooth–skinned like a plum, the Pluot® is sturdy and durable with luscious flavor. It has the chin–dripping juiciness of a fully ripe plum without the notoriously tough skin and tart center typical of the parent plum. One of the sweetest fruits, with 16–24 Brix—probably why Pluots® dominate the Dave Wilson Taste Tests.

Semi–dwarf on Citation rootstock (except Splash on standard Myro–29C can reach about 15'–25' unpruned). These semi–dwarf trees will reach 3/4 of standard (about 8'–14'). Trees are 2 years old, and should begin to fruit in their 4th or 5th year.

All our dormant trees (except Pecan trees) and berries come with a limited replacement guarantee.

Selecting the Perfect Tree For best success, be sure to choose a tree that will grow in your USDA zone, has an appropriate number of chill hours for your climate. If a pollinator is needed, make sure they're planted within 50 feet of each other and will bloom at the same time. Finally, what are your desired harvest intervals (all at once for canning or spread out for fresh eating). Enjoy!
