Win your own Free Range Chicken Garden!
Peaceful Valley organic cover crops, vegetables, and sunflowers will delight some lucky chickens.

In honor of the fact-filled new book, Free-Range Chicken Gardens, Timber Press is giving away a panoply of poultry products.

What’s in the giveaway?

First in the pecking order is the book itself (which should come with a label that says Warning: Reading this book will lead to a longing for chickens).

For a preview, take a quick peek at this short video:

Bless our chicken-loving hearts, we put organic seeds for the chickens in the giveaway package!

Peaceful Valley is playing a part in the contest too. Our prizes in the giveaway are a pound each of our famous PVFS Omega-3 Chicken Forage Blend—Nitrocoated Seed and New Zealand White Clover—Nitrocoated Seed.

To make the winning chickens very happy indeed, we added some of their favorites for special treats: open-pollinated Wild Sunflowers, and a mix of Harlequin Sunflowers; organic Progress #9 Peas, Yellow Chard, and Red Ruby Chard. Of course these treats for the chickens come back to benefit you and your family with extra Omega-3 in the fresh eggs.

More prizes in the giveaway from Murray McMurray, the rare poultry breeder (you do need chickens to make this backyard dream come true), and coop-building plans too.

Enter the giveaway before February 17, then come on back and check out all the items we have to help you create an organic poultry paradise!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page too—we’ll be posting lots of chickeny information and videos over the next few weeks.

Baaawk!

I love having chickens!  The eggs, the playful cackling, the dust baths. It’s all so much fun to watch.

This would be perfect for my first attempt to raise chickens and have fresh eggs.
