Onion transplants have started to ship!
Oct 09, 2008 - David

The heady smell of onions graced the warehouse yesterday.

The shipping crew feverishly prepped for the deluge, until the truck of onions rolled up. As soon as they arrived, receiving was abuzz with all hands on deck, sorting, weighing, and making up the orders. Then the wave of boxes with air holes and “highly perishable onion transplants open immediately” stickers hit shipping.

All the orders went out without a hitch. Our FedEx Express driver had a larger than normal shipment, and we always get to hear about the odiferous nature of things from her. It was good to have a trial run, because the big kahuna will hit next week. We’ll be ready, and no tears!
