Two stars of the edible landscaping world are Leslie Bennett and Stefani Bittner of Star Apple Edible + Fine Gardening in Oakland, California. We spent a lot of time in their edible gardens (which were major crowd-pleasers) at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show.

Early one morning Tricia and Leslie talked about using fruit trees at home. Watch our short video to find out why Leslie says fruit trees are one of the easiest ways to grow edibles—and pick up her planting suggestions for gardeners with almost no space.

Ready for more fruit tree info? Try our Fruit Tree Central, bursting with videos and articles about choosing, planting, pruning, and caring for fruit trees. Expand your orchard this year! We have so many luscious fruit trees for you, bare-root to ship in the winter.

Need fruit trees now? They’re potted and waiting in our Grass Valley, California nursery for you to pick up.

Follow Leslie’s advice on adding fruit trees to your landscape.
