Festuca rubra Perennial cover crop. Introduced from Europe, this hardy and vigorous grass is used extensively for lawns and erosion control. It creeps by underground stems and forms a sod rather than growing in tufts. Low growing, maximum of 12. Plant at 20-25 lb/acre or 1-3 lb/1000 sq ft. (No inoculant needed)
