Fruit Trees for Sale

All our fruit trees & nut tree stock is grown by Dave Wilson Nursery, a nursery located in Hickman, California well-known for consistent high quality.

We offer 5/8" diameter trees (unless otherwise noted); stronger and older to give you the best chance for success and rapid fruit production.

All fruit trees are grown on semi-dwarf rootstocks which are more expensive, but preferred, because at a mature height of approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of a standard tree size, harvesting is easier. Specific rootstocks are noted in variety descriptions.

Our selection includes more than a handful of each of the most popular fruit trees including apples, apricots, cherries, figs, nectarines, peaches, persimmons, asian pears, european & japanese plums, and pomegranates.

Nut Trees

We also have almond trees, chestnut trees, pecan trees and walnut trees. We have selected these varieties with diverse growing conditions in mind to help you find the best nut trees for your garden. Nut trees and fig trees are grown on standard rootstock. See our full selection of nut trees.

Fruit Tree Care

Fruit trees and nut trees are a long-term investment and caring for them properly right from the start will ensure years of enjoyment and productivity.

Premium Quality Fruit Trees from Dave Wilson Nursery Fruit and nut trees are 5/8" diameter and 4'-5' tall unless otherwise noted. All are grown on semi-dwarf rootstock unless otherwise noted which is more expensive but preferred because a mature height of 1/2 to 3/4 of standard tree size makes harvesting much easier. During shipping, trees are topped and roots are enclosed in a plastic bag with a small amount of wet pine shavings to keep the roots moist during shipment.

Stick To Your Zone Plants do best in the USDA zone range that is specified for them. We've provided zone information for each tree we sell. If you plant a tree outside of its zone it will likely not survive.

Check The Chill Hours "Chill hours" are the required number of hours between 32°F and 45°F a fruit tree needs during dormancy. Without proper dormancy the tree will not bloom and won't produce fruit. To find your local average number of chill hours, contact your local nursery, master gardeners group or Ag. Extension office.

Provide Pollen Some trees we carry must be pollinated by other fruit trees while some are "self pollinating". When another fruit tree is required for pollinating, that tree must be in close proximity for pollination (50 -100 yards). Without proper pollination your tree will not fruit.

See our new Limitation of Remedy Policy and our Limited Replacement Guarantee
All trees are shipped while dormant as "bare root" (ie; there is no dirt around the root ball) except the Fig and Pomegranates which are shipped in "sleeve" pots in a planting medium. All fruit trees and nut trees come with planting instructions.
